We have a Aluratek HD camcorder and like the video footage it takes but one large problem we encountered is that there is no screw mount on the bottom for a tripod. To overcome this problem I built a wood cradle that holds the camcorder while being attached to a tripod. I didn’t bother to completely repaint the wood pieces.
